Bogatell Garnacha Blanca: Appearance: A light honey with green hues and a brilliant and clean appearance in the glass. Aroma: Selected natural yeast used in its fermentation makes Bogatell unique. This strain develops special nuances of mature fruits and baked brioche in the aromas, as well as bringing an elegant creaminess to the mid-palate, followed by a pleasant long after taste. Flavor: Wild white flowers, mature melon, green apple and lemon skin.

Also Tasting:

Capçanes El Raval Grenache Carignan: Violet-red in color and taut in style, this blend of Garnacha and Carignan, gives way to notions of elderberry, jammy red currant, dark chocolate and juicy blackberry notes. Focused and austere, the juxtaposition of fruit and dusty tannins support the overall frame of this exciting red, that follows with a medium bodied weight and a wonderful compliance as a food wine. Fluid, but equally as generous, the warm cocoa and toasty herbal elements that emerged on the back palate were exciting and virtually unexpected.
