Gekkeikan Plum

Complex on the nose. Juicy sweet aromas of ripe peach and nectarine, tart ume plum, blackberry jam, baking spices, toasted almonds and marzipan. Honeyed sweetness with a smooth, slightly syrupy mouthfeel. More baking spices, brown sugar, ripe ume plum and marzipan, with a delectable tart acidity. Finish is long but not cloying. Leaves a sweet residue on the lips, yet the tart acid gives a surprisingly light and clean, refreshing finish.
