The 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Réservée is deeper ruby-hued, offering more mulberry and black cherry fruit as well as savory herbs, pepper, and loamy earth aromatics. It's medium to full-bodied, has an elegant, finesse-driven mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and as with the classic cuvée, brilliant purity of fruit. The blend is 40% Grenache and 30% each of Syrah and Mourvedre, brought up all in older barrels.
