Brotte's largest production cuvee (400,000 bottles) is their non-vintage Chateauneuf du Pape La Fiole, usually a 100% Grenache blend of two or three vintages. It is meant to offer a consistent flavor profile from year to year, and generally offers plenty of character as well as spice.

Ripe but restrained black-cherry and plum flavors are tinged with earth and iron in this solid, entry-level Châteauneuf-du-Pape. While not profoundly concentrated, it's full bodied and balanced neatly by fine, taut tannins and a fresh acidic edge. Drink now-2023.
